WW2 Era Japanese 150 Ton Planned O-I Super-Heavy Tank

O-I super-heavy tank kit from Takom. Being it was a planned tank it was another clean slate as to what I wanted it to become in some ways, especially since it was such a large kit. I added front plate armor, rear crew telephone, front track holder and made a replacement side skirt for the left side still in slightly rusting primer due to tropical operating conditions. A pretty easy build as the vast majority of time was spent weathering. Each rivet was hand shadowed on the kit and the headlight lenses I made from resin.

WW2 US M3 Lee

The United States M3 Lee which of which 6,258 were built by five different manufacturing companies during WW2. This was the first olive drab tank I’ve done and required a slightly different approach when it came to weathering.

WW2 German Panzerkampfwagen E-100

This depicts a “what if” scenario had the E-100 reached production. It’s depicted in the spring of ‘46, its haphazard whitewashed winter camo fading away. One hull was completed by the time the allies took control of Germany. Plans had it with a crew of six and weighing in at 123 tons and standing just over 11 feet tall. The kit is produced by Amusing Hobby in 1/35 scale and was done with acrylics, VMS and AK pigments along with oils. The wire for the hull camouflage sets were hyper aged for a rust finish.
