Le Hussard

Plank on frame wooden ship model of the 1848 Le Hussard by Artesania Latina. First wooden kit I ever made back in the ‘80’s. Somehow it survived four major cross state moves in one piece.

Maine Peapod Lobster Boat

Model by Midwest. Unique tapered hull at either end permitted the lobster boat for gaining access to tight rocky areas of the Maine coast.








Seabright Dory Lifeboat

Wooden boat model of the Seabright Dory by Midwest. Lapstrake hull construction and used by lifeguard stations. They are now made out of fiberglass.

Jagdpanther tank destroyer from WW2 in 1/35 scale by Meng. All stock except for gun port chain. Kit comprised of over 1,400 parts.








1919 Christie Medium Tank Prototype

1/35 scale Vargas resin model of prototype tank made by Walter Christie in hopes of scoring a lucrative military contract in 1919. It failed military testing.








First Tank Prototype Built in the US Holt Gas Electric

1/35 resin model of the very first tank prototype to be built in the US based on a tractor assembly by Holt Manufacturing Company (now know as Caterpillar). It had an elaborate cooling system and produced 90 horsepower which pushed 25.4 tons around. It failed US Army field trials.
